- What is Matita ?
'Una matita' in Italian means ‘pencil’.
Every image maker practises his craftsmanship to design an image. The pencil is the link between looking and design of an image.
Our portfolio of designers houses a diversity of illustrative disciplines: we emphasise on illustration and offer besides that the necessary creative platform to realise, to animate, to broadcast, to publish, to put online, ...
That platform consists of illustrators, photographers, animators, 3D, web and graphic designers. Our strongly-held philosophy is that all these disciplines will inspire each another and may be used separately or in combination with each other in either still and/or moving artwork.
As a designers agency we pride ourselves on representing international designers of a particularly high quality and versatility.- What is the role of Patrizia?
As a producer she promotes the portfolio of designers, takes the assignments and coordinates the projects with the designers. She makes sure your image works and is delivered in time by the most suitable designer(s).
Patrizia combines her professional experience in marketing and communication with practical knowledge of visual arts. That is why she started 'Matita'.
She has a degree 'Master in Media & Communication Sciences' at the University of Brussels (VUB). She followed a course 'Publicity & Design' in Italy (Istituto del Design). Besides that she was more than 10 years evening student at the art academy (Haspengouwse Academie) and 2 at the 'Academie voor fotografie' of Sint-Lukas Brussels.

Matita is a reference for tailor-made illustration and design projects - based on design styles, creativity and craftsmanship. We give illustration a new significance and are active in stimulating the professional role of designers in corporate communication.We believe image production should be tailor-made. It is understanding the message the client has to bring through and being the clients' extra pair of hands.

- Who designs the images ?
Matita wouldn’t be Matita without the designers and their craftsmanship, good taste and professional experience. Take a tour at their profiles and portfolios.
We are professionals who have found a dynamic balance between corporate communication and artwork.
- Which kind of designers do you work with ?
- The ideal designer is a master of his pencil and his creative software. He or she has the rebellious spirit and original style of a true artist and –at the same time- the craftsmanship of a construction worker.
In other words, Matita is a high quality professional platform for authentic, creative designers that deliver client specific solutions. - How can I participate as an image maker?
- We conduct extensive research for innovative trends and outstanding quality.
If you are a professional image maker and you think you can fit in the team, please send your cv and a zipped file with low resolution images (or the link to your online portfolio) that reflect your most recent, commercial artwork to info(at)matita.be.
You will receive an answer within 15 days. You may fit into the Matita Design Portfolios or the Matita Art Stock or both. Keep in mind, we prefer quality above quantity. - What are your conditions once I can participate ?
For Matita Design, we hire you to work for our clients on a day to day basis.
For Matita Art Stock you get 50% for every sold image. You have to make sure that your images are copyright-free for the end-user.
