Which kind of designers do you look for ?
Matita is a platform for authentic, creative designers.
How can I participate as an image maker?
We look into almost every submission request or participation request in our ongoing research for trends and quality. If you are a professional image maker and you think to fit in the team, please send your cv and a zipped file with low resolution images that reflect your most recent work. But remember, we prefer quality above quantity.
What are your conditions once I can participate?
Shortly, for Matita Art Stock you get 50% for every sold image. Most images aren't sold exclusively and you have to make sure they are copyright-free for the end-user.
I'm having trouble downloading my image.
You can get technical questions answered by sending an e-mail. Please be as clear and specific as possible when describing your problem.
Where can I find my invoice?
When you order images, you will receive an overview of your order through Paypal which can be used and printed as the invoice.
What are your licensing and usage terms?
You can read our full licensing information and sales conditions here.
Are all your images royalty-free?
Yes. Once purchased, you may use that image as many times you want and wherever you choose. The only exception is you may not use our images for resale. For example, you couldn't put our images on a line of greeting cards and then sell them. If you wish to discuss this type of special licensing arrangement, please email us. You can view the licensing information here.
How much do your images cost?
Our images are priced at 2 levels:
low resolution images cost EUR 150 and high resolution images cost EUR 300. Some illustrations also come in a scalable EPS vector format that costs EUR 500. Low resolution images are coded " web " and can be used for creating websites and for small images in print. High resolution images can be used for all other print formats.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Currently we accept Paypal. Or contact us for other options by bank account.
Do you make refunds?
We don't do refunds to protect the copyrights of our designers.
What sizes do your images come in?
If by sizes you mean dimensions, we offer several different sizes. All image details are available in the right box to each image. Note: all of these sizes are approximate.
If by sizes you mean resolution, we offer two resolutions. Comping and low resolution images (called WEB) are at 72 dpi. min. 800 px. RGB.
High resolution (called PRINT) ones are at 72 dpi. min. 2500 px. RGB.
Vector based illustrations come in EPS format so there's no resolution.
How do I get detailed information about an image?
After searching for an image and finding one you like, simple click on the thumbnail and a larger preview image will come up. Next to the image you will read more information.
What resolution image should I choose?
Generally speaking, low resolution images are best for web use. High resolution images are best for offset printing. Be sure to buy an image at a size bigger than you are planning to use it at. Say you need a photo for a brochure that's 20 cm x 30 cm (@ 300dpi), you're better off to buy the 20 cm x 40 cm (@ 300dpi) size and reduce it down rather than buying the 4 cm x 6 cm (@ 72dpi) version and enlarging it up to that size.
Are all of your images cross-platform?
Yes. All of our images will work with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems.
Do you offer non-watermarked images for comping?
Yes. We offer non-watermarked low resolution images. Please contact us.
Do I need to register to purchase images?
No. You can register for our newsletter.
Do you share my personal information with other people?
